Russ Berrie Award 2022

Wind of the Spirit and its founder Diana Mejia received the Russ Berrie Making a Difference 2022 Award for their hard work in the fight for immigrant justice, blazing a rigorous trail of community empowerment by organizing, advocating, educating and mobilizing immigrants and non-immigrants. Likewise, the organization has been accompanying various movements that challenge and challenge obsolete immigration laws for more than 20 years, in the search for a path that defends more just and humane policies.
