Who are we?

Wind of the Spirit is a faith-based organization.We are an immigrant group with a history of over 20 years of struggle to promote the rights of the immigrant community in New Jersey. We organize through a collective of immigrant workers.

 

We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment free of discrimination, and to advocating for fair and humane immigration policies that respect dignity and celebrate our shared humanity.

What do we do? Wind of the Spirit works to support people whose health and safety may be affected by the working conditions in which they find themselves. As part of our commitment and fight for immigrant rights, we have an alliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration

At Wind of the Spirit, the No Human Being is Illegal workshop offers a comprehensive perspective that combines legal, historical and religious explanations for why no human being can be considered illegal. Each workshop is unique, as it is customized to meet the specific needs and characteristics of each group.
